Reinvention phase with emerging opportunities.

Discover how a second residency in Argentina is a Plan B that safeguards your future.
In Argentina, you can structure your life and that of your loved ones with an efficient monthly expense that maximizes quality of life without sacrificing services.

Time zone similar to that of a large number of Latin American countries. If you have customers or your market is there, it is undoubtedly an ideal base for operating, investing and coordinating without friction.

It is possible to maintain your residency with a minimum physical presence, without activating tax residency if you do not live more than half a year or transfer your center of interest. A true plan B, in every sense of the word.

It is an absolutely beautiful country with mountains, paradisiacal beaches and historic cities. However, it is a fact that security at certain times of the night is somewhat delicate.

You reside in a country undergoing potentially transformative economic reform, offering an opportunity to be part of history.

Argentina offers quality private healthcare and bilingual international education for the little ones (and not so young) at home.

Forget about complexity. You pay and you get. That is.
From international banking and offshore companies to second passports, we design solutions that protect wealth, reduce risks and provide the peace of mind of knowing that your children's future has real alternatives.

Under the new governing administration, for many, Argentina consolidates itself in 2026 as an investment destination and Plan B, in its attempt to leave behind decades of socialism and problematic economic policy.
There are several ways available to obtain residency in Argentina, which can lead to short-term citizenship, provided that certain conditions are met and appropriate partners are available to help with bureaucratic procedures.
The different types of request are for:
- Temporary Residency: Renter Visa (Passive Income).
- Temporary Residency: Pensioner Visa (Passive Income).
- Temporary/Transitional Residency: Student Visa.
- Permanent Residency.
The following documents are required for all types of residency:
- Passport.
- Argentine criminal record.
- Criminal record from any country where you have resided for more than 1 year in the last 3 years (translated and certified by a public translator in Argentina if not in Spanish).
- Certificate of address in Argentina.
Depending on the type of visa and where you apply from, you need one of the following:
- Proof of current health insurance.
- Proof of passive, pension or regular income.
- Birth and marriage certificates.
- Proof of income of funds to Argentina (for renter visa).
Note:
* All documents must be translated into Spanish.
* All documents from your country of origin must be apostilled.
The law requires 2 years of uninterrupted presence in Argentina. It is not yet clear if they will show flexibility with those who leave the country for a few weeks or months. These reforms are still being implemented and there is uncertainty.
Once the application is submitted, there is a 3-part process that begins with a formal review of your documents to verify that you meet the basic requirements.
In the following phases, the State requests information from various agencies, such as the police and migrations, to clarify your activities and your length of stay in Argentina.
It can take between 12 and 24 months from applying to obtaining citizenship, and you are expected to remain in Argentina while it is being processed. However, you can go on vacation as long as you do not stay out of the country for an unreasonably long period. Even these deadlines are uncertain, as reforms have changed the way to apply for citizenship. Before, candidates had to go through the judicial system, but now it seems that there will be a citizenship unit within the Government that will process the applications.
In parallel, the Government is also working on a $500,000 USD citizenship-by-investment program, although few details are available for now.
Note:
* As a general rule, it is not possible to renounce Argentine citizenship. It is one of the few countries in the world where there is no legal mechanism for this.
Giving birth in Argentina offers an incredible opportunity to obtain citizenship for your family, in addition to enjoying affordable, first-rate healthcare. Our local team can help you plan your delivery without complications.
Why in Argentina?
- Incredible and affordable healthcare with top-notch medical professionals.
- Much better customer service than in many “first-world” countries.
- Additional services such as midwives, doulas and breastfeeding counselors are also affordable.
- Home births with doctors and midwives are legal in Argentina.
- Relaxed environment with great apartments and activities for swimming and relaxing.
- Your child automatically becomes an Argentine citizen.
- The parents of the newborn can obtain temporary residency in Argentina.
- Both groups of grandparents can obtain temporary residency in Argentina.
- The newborn's siblings can obtain temporary residency in Argentina.
This special temporary residency based on consanguinity offers an accelerated path to qualifying citizenship. Basically, when you give birth in Argentina, you give your whole family a back-up Plan B and your child becomes a citizen from day one.
1.- MEDICAL CARE AND DELIVERY OPTIONS.
The most important thing is the birth experience itself. In general, it is much more affordable than in North America and private centers in Europe, but the service, competence and amenities are just as good, or even better. Depending on the experience you are looking for, our local team can provide it for you.
C-section? Alright.
Natural childbirth? Of course.
Home birth? Also fine.
Depending on the choice, we assign you the best doctors and equipment that fit your needs. In addition, before giving birth, you can request special yoga, pilates, massage and acupuncture sessions.
2.- LEGAL DOCUMENTATION.
After giving birth, we work hand in hand to achieve:
- Obtaining the birth certificate.
- Obtaining the Argentine passport and the identification of the minor.
- Obtaining temporary residency for the whole family (parents, grandparents, siblings under 18).
Although Argentina is a charming country, it is very bureaucratic and things are not always simple. But we can do it ;)
3.- POSTPARTUM SUPPORT.
In many cases, the weeks and months after giving birth can be even more stressful than the birth itself. We put you in touch with:
- Pediatricians.
- Postpartum counseling.
- Doulas.
- Experts in breastfeeding.
4.- LOGISTICS AND ACCOMMODATION.
- Airport transfers.
- Search for an apartment.
- Buy or rent a car.
- Family photo sessions with the baby.
- Care packages.
- Shopping for the mother and the future baby.
- Beauty services such as home pedicures, manicures, hairdressing, etc.
